In my country(estonia) i have next statistics about abortions: In 1991 26k abortions, in 1996 17k abortions, in 2001 11k abortions, in 2006 9,4k abortions, in 2011 6,7k abortions, in 2016 4,5k abortions and in 2020 3,5k abortions.
And somehow they found last year abortion has become a huge problem. Npcs galore.

Abortion was never really voted on frankly. When abortion became “the law of the land”, the legal system was overwhelmingly in the hands of men. There were no female justices on Roe v Wade. Men in power could have stopped abortion easily. And of course mostly men performed abortions overwhelmingly until pretty recently.

Abortion appealed to many men. For obvious reasons. Most suffragettes were totally against abortion.
