Ashkenazi Jews seem to have migrated to the
Rhineland by the eighth century (7). The existence
of โโJewish diseasesโโ such as Tay-Sachs disease,
Gaucher disease and Niemann-Pick disease in this
population, diseases that are relatively rare in the
non-Jewish population, implies a considerable
degree of genetic isolation. Moreover, a number of
genetic markers, particularly those in the HLA
system, suggest that the extent of genetic exchange with surrounding European populations
has been meager (8)

I swear. I have never found Jews to be very smart.
They follow certain rules and cooperate and self promote which leads to their commercial success but in term of understanding and being able to actual figure things out they are lacking in my experience.

But they keep the children and raise them as their own, never distinguishing between a Jew or half Jew. Since there are no half Jews, there can be no quarter Jews, etc. A Jewish parent will always indoctrinate their children to consider themselves fully Jewish and nothing else.
And so the admixture in surrounding populations is low, while within their own population it is very high.
Few break free from that cycle, stop calling themselves Jews, and truly integrate with the host population and culture. That's part of why Jews are the way they are; they self-select for those who want to be eternal outsiders and superior victims, and against those who want to fit in and share loyalty with their neighbors.
