Depends on what else is important to you.

My #1 priority was to live exclusively among Whites. Mrs. Fascinus was more concerned with Home School laws.

Do you have credit or capital? There's really nice places in Florida that are relatively nigger free, and the niggers that are there know their fucking place even if they're not happy about it. Real estate is crazy expensive right now, if you can afford to wait until that bubble pops you can be in good shape.

Wife an I just decided tonight. We are looking to sell our place in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina. Five acres, 2BR 2 Ba, total renovation 5 years ago, completely hidden by trees from any (distant) neighbors, on a low mountain outside of Hayesville. Also has a 500 sq ft cabin (unrestored) and a 1 car garage. Good well water and septic, so only utility is electricity from our own local company. Better still, only one black family in the entire county! Thinking to move to be near the kids. Oh, asking price will be $180k. Will list tomorrow but you can jump the gun and I'll knock 10k off for any goat.

The people of the Appalachian Mountains are still pretty based. The place is so white that I saw a guy park his car at a gas station, go inside, and come back 10-20 minutes later without locking his car or even turning it off. I didn't see a single nigger out there last time I made the trip. IIRC, I was somewhere around the far eastern side of Ohio.

It's cold and May has been insane so far. 38 degrees this AM. We are selling and moving due to my husband's health. I'll miss this beautiful place. We have 100ft cedars and red fir. We harvested some to use to remodel the house. When our two decks are repaired we are gone.

If you're a bay area person, you're not really going to be welcome anywhere. Wont stop you from going anywhere, but nobody will get along with you.

I'd personally advise going to a place and walking around for an afternoon. If the air treats you well, and the land accepts you then that's a good point to rest. If you go nuts, or you can't wander around then it's probably not a good place to live.

Where I live in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, we have no Californians, but the influx from Florida earns us the term 'Floridiots'. No real animosity though. The true natives are of course preferential to their own, but a third of the folks here are flatlanders, so outsiders are not ill treated or surrounded by the hill people. A West-Coaster or two might seem like a novelty here.

No drought in these mountains although they tend to have a dry summer every ten years.
