It's the essence of niggerdom. They don't comprehend abstract concepts. Plagiarism is an abstract concept. The notion that words can be representative of someone else's thoughts and therefore more than just a sterile configuration of letters and spaces doesn't occur to it. So there's nothing to "steal" in the first place.
It also demonstrates why the only thing niggers understand is force. It's real. Tangible. Present in the moment. You beat a nigger for stealing, not to teach it to stop stealing, but to teach it that being near you and doing things equals pain. Otherwise, they just steal again.
When you have two prominent niggers who are known plagiarists -- Alex Haley (Roots) and Martin Luther King (his PhD thesis) -- being excused and their plagiarism overlooks and forgotten, it sets a precedent for niggers who attempt writing.
Book has been republished by a hooowyyytee hating woke jew backed stronk blayck own independent no mxnsplaining brave multicultural publisher called Borders Books
In the works cited its references all the plagiarism and makes the book a number one best seller because she's a nog and anything else would be racist.
Plagiarism has been with us since the birth of language and art.
Bailey's sentence:
Plagiarism, the act of taking another's work and passing it off as your own, has almost certainly been with us since the dawn of artwork and the written language
I'm not defending Bello's plagiarism when it came to writing the novel. She admits to it openly.
But I have problems with calling her sentence (above) an example of plagiarism. First of all, in absolute terms it is worded differently. That it has a similar form doesn't seem sufficient to me to meet plagiarism, but this is taking some other things into consideration simultaneously:
It's a banal descriptive sentence that's the fodder for introductory paragraphs in shitty essays. It's the kind of general opening sentence that characterizes high-school level essays, in my opinion.
In terms of the broader concept of ideas, I don't think Bailey should have something called 'ownership' of any sentence having the general form of something as unoriginal and non-unique as this.
Sure, call Bello unoriginal for the sentence, but I think plagiarism is excessive.
But I tend to lean a little liberally, in today's internet age, on the subject of intellectual property, especially when it comes to ideas and their written forms. Sure, stop somebody from profiting substantially off of borrowed ideas, but to unpublish an article because an unimportant introductory sentence has similarity to one from ten years ago?
She lifted a paragraph on plagiarism and changed some words to avoid a 1-1 copy. It wasn't just the first sentence. She used the exact same example from history. If you want to apologize for plagiarizing, googling "plagiarism" and copying the essence of an article without attribution is not the way to do it.

Yeah, I believe I responded too quickly when I first caught this. My prejudiced reaction to plagiarism accusations (generally) was deployed. I'd agree with your correction. @dassar as well
