What's a good replacement for Gillette?

Fuck those kikes. I need a new razor blade that basically does what Gillette does. Don't want a subscription, I'd pay upfront for bulk (assuming I can test it first)

I already use a straight razor, I need both.

Get a safety razor. Blades are cheap. 1 100 blade box will last a long time. Buy a few boxes and you'll never worry about razors ever again.

Was writing this when I saw it was top comment.

I got a pack of who knows how many razors and they are .06 each. The gillette Mach 5 I was using was close to six dollars each new razor. It's a much smoother, easier shave too and none of that weird lotiony sludge they put on every razor. Just wipe it clean and put in a new razor.

Feather blades. Made in Japan and known worldwide for being the sharpest but be sure to get sample pack before you drop cash on one type of blade. Some blade are just complete shit.

Yep, Feather's are the only ones I buy. The Bic triple razors are good too though, the only store-bought one's I'd buy.

I use Feather blades. The Japs know how to make a sharp blade, easily the best I've tried.

Supposedly different blades work better for different safety razors. I went with an Edwin Jagger with Feather blades, although the blades are comparatively expensive at $0.30 each. I get about four shaves per razor. It was my best decision of that year when I started using a safety razor.

I can see how that would be so. I've used a few different razors with many brands of blades.

Best way to find which out which blades work for you is to try them.

I don't shop there anymore and, years ago, variety packs were readily available on amazon. I'm sure other places have similar offerings.

Double-edge safety razors are cheap and ubiquitous. But if you prefer something more akin to what you're used to, Dorco (Korean company) makes some decent 3-blade stuff.

No kidding. I went went an Atra 2 blade to a 3 blade to a 5 blade!!! thingy.

Then, my wife consoomed some commercial and bought me a safety razor for a stocking stuffer one year. I ignored it for 2 months, the 5 blade thing was dull AF and I didn't have $30 for a new 4 pack of blades, and I tried it. Holy smooth shave. Holy close shave. Holy, why didn't I do this 20 years ago shave.

Get a safety razor. One of proper weight will do most of the job itself.

I'd get endless ingrown hairs with the Gillette facefuckers, but never did with a safety razor.

Finding the right blade for you will be the problem, but you can get variety packs so you can test several out. I liked Norcos.

Edit: Someone else mentioned Feather blades, and I liked those too.

ffs go buy a merkur and single blade safety razors like your grandfather used.
It provides a closer shave, an heirloom piece that will outlive you and the blades are cheaper.

All of you niggies should have one of these and ditch that expensive plastic jew crap that gives you razor burn and ingrown hair, learn to shave properly with a mans razor you neets.

The best solution is to grow a beard.

One minute per day shaving (very conservative time estimate) take five days off for camping. Three hundred sixty minutes, i.e. six hours per year. Use the spare 30 minutes per month to make more white children.

Baxter of California safety with Parker or feather blades is my recommendation. I have been using my baxter since 2011.
Razorrock is also a good razor but I have never tried one.
Do you use a good shavette? I have a dovo straight razor but I am always keeping an eye for a better shavette. The one I have is a Parker with rosewood scales.

I tried a lot, including safety razors, and didn't like any of them.

I've been using generic Mach 3 blade cartridges. You can find them at many stores under different generic names. Here's some from the faggots at Target, https://www.target.com/p/men-s-3-blade-cartridges-10ct-up-up-153-fits-gillette-mach3-handles/-/A-46776906

10 blades for $12. I've seen other stores carry 30 blades for $25. They are good enough and even if they wear out a little faster, they are only about a $1 each. I have the same Mach 3 razor for about 10 years.

Buy any adjustable safety razor and feather brand double edge (DE) blades. Merker makes new ones, but I prefer vintage gillettes. I realize you want to leave Gillette, so this is ironic. If it's for your vagina, buy a gem closed comb single edge. They're super gentle.

If you already wetshave, why are we even having this conversation? It takes me 8 minutes to have a proper 3 pass shave.

In all seriousness I've used those cheap razors and my beard is too full and coarse. They don't work well for everyone.
