That defeated feeling is compounded by the fact that 1 million people in the US have died from Covid-19 – the highest Covid death rate among large wealthy countries.

No facts here. Dying WITH covid and FROM covid are 2 different things and they've admitted to conflating the numbers. Best estimates show 125k-175k died from covid.

The ones million number is a gas lighting joke put out to sell the 5th booster and the omicron variant booster, out this month.
