Seems to be more common with white cats. I've also heard that white cats with heterochromic eyes have a 50% chance of being deaf in one or both ears.

I have 2. One would walk straight through them (dumbest bonehead I've ever had--literally uses my painted wall and wooden door frames as scratching posts), the other wouldn't know what to do and never pass it...even if it meant her dying.
