Okay, you might be on to something. It seems to work about as well as cidofavir in vitro.

Im thinking that cimetidine/tagamet might work against smallpox/monkeypox in high doses. It seems to boost cellular immunity through IL-6 and has been shown to work on some viuruses llike papillomas, herpes, and at least one poxvirus, molluscum. I would definitely try it if I came down with whatever fuckin pox fauci has whipped up in his kitchen for us this time.
