I don't mean to invest. I mean literally to buy, sell and trade things with it. You should NEVER lose USD by doing what I'm suggesting.

I'm saying if you need to buy something and there are two sellers on craigslist, one selling for btc and one for usd, buy the one selling it for usd. You can do that easily with the strike app.

We have to start USING USD less and less.

Also, as a protip for a 10 year veteran, never sell unless you bought shitcoins trying to get rich. Bitcoin, ethereum, monero and some others will rebound eventually. What you're seeing now is a gigantic fake out.

Yes, I agree 100%. I buy and sell things on craigslist and facebook. I'm trying to get to the point where I have enough cashflow to dedicate a significant portion of payments to crypto. I've bought and sold a handful of things for btc and eth though. It's a start.

Awesome! Check out the strike app. It may be a good one. I still haven't decided yet. It's super easy to get bitcoin already on lightning. You can use a credit card even though they say debit. That's what I've found. I use it to get lightning btc and transfer to my phoenix wallet.

If this is going to work, I think we need to get lightning going but I'm not opposed to most of the big cap cryptos. Glad to hear it man. So many even here are just so fucking stupid. We can't win if we use US dollars. Everyone needs to get off fiat.

I mean if I buy a coin for $400 that I bought with 40 hours of my labor I don't want to use that coin to buy something that is worth $200 because they feel the coin is worth $200 and so I lose 20 hours of my labor forever. Until someone gets a really good Hamburger Index style standalone value for what a Bitcoin is worth against labor and materials, I'm still going to be valuing it against a fiat currency. Precious metals have this same issue.

Transactions between currencies are instant with certain apps like Strike. Still, as time goes by bitcoin becomes more and more "stable". Participation increases will change everything.
