Yes, Bitcoin will explode soon. Ignore NFTS and other scams. The light attracts bugs.

The fact that you're even asking that question is proof that you should avoid the stock market casino, for one thing, "crypto" is a currency without substance, it's an aetherial supposition financially supported by a false value based upon the discretionary rhetoric of money manipulators.

What a retarded kike take. You have two choices, kike US dollars or crypto like bitcoin. All bitcoin is is an open ledger of transactions so we know no one is creating money out of thin air.

.... so, like fiat.

[ - ] Doglegwarrior 0 points 2.9 yearsJun 1, 2022 21:25:56 ago (+0/-0)

Well the substance is I can put crypto in here travel abroad and get it out with out getting hammered by middle men. There is also silver token tied directly to the value of silver it earns intrest and you can redeem real silver from on of their 12 vaults

I wish I had invested now instead of buy a little at a time over the last 3 months... seems like every time a buy a giant lever is pulled some where and the crypto gods say!!!! Down again keep going down this guy keeps buying! I have the money to spare and if there is another upswing I will be sitting nice but I keep grabbing the falling blade it seems. If I had waited I would be hammering it right now...

But it should come back and now seems a good time to buy

Same thing happens to me when ever I invest in anything.

Imho crypto will either be worth an insane amount or zero in 15 years.

So the difference between $60k and $10k doesn't really matter. Do the people who bought BTC for $5 (and held) really regret not buying in at $2?

Cryptos tend to drop hard when the stock market drops. The idea that they are a value store or a hedge against market instability, like gold, has not panned out in reality. If anything, they are considerably more unstable. It's a risk asset, much like stocks.

The difference is this: No matter how hard the stock market crashes, it will eventually bounce back and exceed current values. Individual stocks may fail, if the company goes out of business, but the market as a whole will survive and reach new peaks. There is no such guarantee with crypto. It may drop hard and stay low. It may just delete billions USD of value overnight. Look up "LUNA crash" for a recent example.

You're better off investing in a NASDAQ/SP500/DJIA/etc tracking ETF or similar derivative. Leveraged, if you want additional risk/reward. QQQ is a popular alternative.

In any case, markets are very unstable right now and likely not done crashing.

So whatever you pick, don't go in hard. Layer in, little by little. Start small. Be patient. See what it does. If it goes up, great, you're printing money. Layer in some more to print more. If it drops, no big deal, you now have a chance to buy more at a cheaper price.

Be careful what you think of stocks. Boomers are now selling investments monthly and the next generations aren't going to buy as quickly. On death their heirs will liquidate investments at far greater than 0% as well.

[ - ] Cunt 1 point 2.9 yearsMay 31, 2022 04:19:04 ago (+1/-0)

That is a really good point. Boomers aren't retiring, well I know one that is planning for it sooner rather than later, but when they do they will need to start selling slowly or a bit harder depending in their circumstances and if they want to burn all their wealth quickly before they die like too many will.

But as you say when they start dying is the bigger crash as most heirs will need or want to sell all their assets.

[ - ] GoldenAgeWhen 0 points 2.9 yearsMay 31, 2022 06:30:44 ago (+0/-0)

I know some retired ones, and they are drawing about 10k/mo currently (want to use it before they die). That is for a couple, but I don't know many people putting $5k/mo into a retirement fund to offset this. These are normal people, and it makes sense; even if you invested 10% of your income, if you wanted to keep everything the same when you retire it would take 10 people at that income level investing 10% to purchase that investment from you. The weighted average of the workforce investments I think is falling short of this and that gap should be expanding.

So whatever you pick, don't go in hard. Layer in, little by little.

Dollar-cost averaging. If your buying is spread over the range of fluctuations, your effective price per unit is the average price.

Gold had a 40 year downturn and you're calling it a store of value. Give me a break. If anything, long term bitcoin has PROVEN to be a store of value. It's literally in the charts. The only time so far it hasn't is 6 months and we all know that's going to be changed very soon.

[ - ] GloryBeckons 1 point 2.9 yearsMay 31, 2022 20:04:24 ago (+1/-0)

You clearly have strong feelings about this. Getting emotionally attached to investments is never a good idea. It clouds one's judgment, which introduces error.

Bitcoin hasn't even existed "long term". Nor will it. Its value will eventually drop to zero and it will become nothing but a memory. And, not long after, not even that. Gold, on the other hand, will be valued for as long as humans exist. Sometimes more. Sometimes less. But never zero.

That's why gold is a store of value, and bitcoin is not.

[ - ] zr855 0 points 2.9 yearsJun 1, 2022 02:58:51 ago (+0/-0)

You said nothing here other than what's in your imagination. Bitcoin is not just an "investment". It's a way out for those enslaved by kikes. You probably don't even know only banks create US dollars.

All bitcoin is is a shared spreadsheet of transactions so we all know no one is creating money out of thin air.

Gold is fine but it can't replace US dollars and all kike created money. Bitcoin can...and will.

Precious metals only. Lead and brass.

[ - ] bonghits4jeebus 1 point 2.9 yearsMay 31, 2022 00:43:28 ago (+1/-0)

I wouldn't. I mean periods of high volatility don't sound like a good time for a person to start in any new kind of investing.

[ - ] pickingrinninspittin 0 points 2.9 yearsMay 31, 2022 09:21:52 ago (+1/-1)

Crypto is literally a ponzi scheme, so yeah now's a good time to bet the farm.

[ - ] shitface9000 0 points 2.9 yearsMay 31, 2022 04:33:36 ago (+0/-0)

DYOR

Ethereum, solana, avalanche are ripe for innovation. I would put my money on a coin with technical promise.

You can also investigate an index investment.

Regardless it is high risk

[ - ] CPU 0 points 2.9 yearsMay 31, 2022 01:52:58 ago (+0/-0)

I'd say it is going lower, then going to find consolidation. Then when it is quiet, then buy.

[ - ] giantprick 0 points 2.9 yearsMay 31, 2022 01:31:25 ago (+0/-0)

Sure just pick the right ones

[ - ] GeneralDisarray 0 points 2.9 yearsMay 31, 2022 01:08:14 ago (+0/-0)

Cryptos are high risk and high reward investments.

So the best strategy is to invest a little and pick the one with the best utility. This investment should be seen as a hedge against your tangible investments like precious metals under performing. Rather than all your eggs in one intangible basket.

The one that you should be looking at investing your $20 in is XRP ripples imho.

Simply because in the event of currencies collapsing the usd crash would take out the swift system and end international transactions. XRP was designed with all this functionality in place since 2013.

It is being rapidly adopted by nations, banks, institutions and even now the swift system itself announced they will run on the back of the ripple ledger. The CEO of MasterCard has since said that he thinks the swift system will end in the next five years.

It's all pointing to XRP being the soon future currency of interbank settlements. And that would mean it value should be massively higher than what it is trading at right now.

Buy some and keep it safe offline, off exchanges until the crash has happened.

Just don't be a fucking retard and mortgage the house.

Bulls (optimistic investors) get paid!

Bears (pessimistic investors) get paid!

But pigs (greedy investors) get slaughtered!!!

Is there a reason why Coinbase won't deal with XRP?

[ - ] GeneralDisarray 0 points 2.9 yearsMay 31, 2022 13:51:09 ago (+0/-0)

They are trying to hold it back to discourage investors.

That's why xrp is the only crypto being sued by the sec.

[ - ] Doglegwarrior 0 points 2.9 yearsJun 1, 2022 21:42:13 ago (+0/-0)

Can't buy ripple on gemini or coinbase. I only use gemini for what ever reason not sure why it's not traded there considering its the 3rd largest crypto. That could change something about it being centralized is a problem for gemini

[ - ] GeneralDisarray 0 points 2.9 yearsJun 1, 2022 22:07:34 ago (+0/-0)

Xrp is now eighth largest.

It's decentralized so no one can be banned from using it.

The exchanges delisted it because the sec was suing them. The whole case is bullshit to hold the price down. But it's obvious that ripple will be the new interbank settlement system going forwards after the crash.

It's the only existing potential replacement for the usd and swift. And they are moving forwards like this is the plan.

That would make xrp seriously undervalued.
