Lead pipes, a nail, and a tig welder should get the job done if you have the ammo. They're not terribly complicated.

Bro, I'm not gonna tell you how to make a mortar tube. It's a very simple mechanism. I have faith you can find it on your own. And no, it's not like a potato gun. These things have been around for a hundred years. I'm sure you can figure it out.

Well , yeah I didn't mean the actual tube itself...

Meant like the ordnance

I've seen shit online from the Kurt saxon pdfs on how to make one..

Just , ain't ever welded before (think also Ragnar Benson made stuff on a more crude one)

Just trying to get an idea here

Two day old account. Obvious fed is obvious.

Yea,to bad it's a Fed,I happen to have (3) of these mortar cannons,(2)of them are completely operational.

Damn,the bad luck.

That's not what he was asking for. He wasn't willing to do the work to build one, which is telling enough, but he wanted something else.

Well , yeah I didn't mean the actual tube itself...
Meant like the ordnance

But I guess you didn't catch that. If he wants to know more, he can refer to the CIA-authored "Anarchist's Cookbook". He can learn how to blow himself up there.

A firearm is legally something that uses explosive force to launch a projectile. (US law.) Any firearm other than a shotgun with a bore greater than one half inch is classified as a destructive device and manufacturing requires a special tax/license, as does ownership. Bottom line, even if it launched an inert projectile it's a DD and big trouble. Board the dogs safely elsewhere.

I vaguely recall some ruling by the ATF that potato guns were somehow not classed as firearms but the ruling was narrow enough that it was only for certain types of projectiles (vegetables or produce in general, to include fruit?/s)
