Proof #1 - if the plane flew flat and level on a ball earth they'd gain elevation as the flew.

I'm a pilot and this is horseshit. Go look at an artificial horizon on an airplane. Whether it be modern day digital or old school gyro, there is no way to use that instrument to fly knowingly and perfectly level for even the most brief of moments, let alone over miles. You couldn't knowingly get perfectly level to begin with since the accuracy in the instrument is not there, and even if you could, the slightest wind shift would change your trajectory, out of level.

Pilots, or autopilots, are constantly correcting for shifts in wind or output power to maintain level flight and level flight is not determined by the gyroscope artificial horizon, but rather a pressure differential measuring device called the rate of climb instrument which is lagging and based on changes of pressure relative to a relatively constant press inside the cabin. Small shifts in outside pressure or inside cabin pressure cause the rate of climb meter to move, and there are buffers on the instrument to rid it of spurious changes.

So, the 1st proof is not only bullshit. It's childish bullshit and demonstrates not only a lack of understanding of flight instruments, but an unwillingness to look at even the basic principals of flight instrumentation before makes such a fucking stupid claim.
