you only really need your c:\users folder that stores most app settings and browser setups.

Step 1. Clean install a fresh OS onto it.
Step 2. Enter BIOS.
Step 3. Change boot order.
Step 4. ???
Step 5. Profit

No, seriously, you should always do a clean OS install because you're not keeping fragmented data (which I guess isn't relevant on an SSD), unused files, PUPs, and other shit that generally goes unnoticed but needs to be cleaned up.

Anything on your HDD you can then backup. Reformat the HDD, all that nice stuff, now you have two squeaky clean drives. Much like moving house, changing your boot drive is a good time to throw away/forget about crap you don't need/use.
