Bold and aggressive seems to make a more successful battlefield general (these are battlefield generals we are talking about here.) the Rommel and the Pattons kicked ass, while your McClellans and Montgomerys wallowed. General Clark was a huge battlefield wallower at Sicily. My least favorite was dug out doug, he fooled a lot of people in charge. But he was definitely a battlefield wallower, he managed to pull off the Inchon invasion but then proceeded to fuck everything up after that. Could I have done better? Hell no, being a battlefield general is fucking hard. Only a few actually were good at it.
