I think the problem with going back to Caesar, Nebuchadnezzar or Hitler would be that the first two are to early in time to take out all the other races and Hitler is to late in time. There needs to be that sweet spot where people have the ability to take on the world but not so advanced that the jews have things established.

I think if you go to far back in time they wouldn't have the means to carry out worldwide domination, even if you showed them as many modern day inventions as you possibly could. With the crusades, I feel like they might have had the ability to figure out and build steam engines and manipulate copper in order to build telegraph lines. You could teach them how to make gunpowder and cannons. I imagine rail and communications lines being built across the land to travel towards the holy land. Soldiers fresh from riding a train with supply lines being constantly fed to them. Cannons wiping out city walls in minutes with thousands of brown slaves being picked up in every city along the way. Orders and commands being instantaneous over the telegraph lines. The crusades wouldn't stop either, it would be a worldwide crusade as large steam boats are built to travel the oceans to conquer the Americas.
