Most likely running surveillance for the cartels, imo. You wouldn't believe the shit that goes on down there unless you saw it for yourself. The border has some amazing people watching/site seeing. I use to work in that area and my sister's family lived in Yuma for about 20 years. So many stories

Right next to a military testing range and the US/Mexico border. Plenty of reason for it to be there. Mind you if it was flying over Smithville Nebraska or something like that then this would definitely be unusual.

No worries bud. Usually in the US a lot of military stuff is done in the deserts of the southwest, southern California, and Nevada.
