They expect us to believe it's a piece of thermal blanket from a previous rover lol. Why the fucking fuck would they have 2 different rovers follow such similar/close paths? You'd think they'd want to explore different parts of the planet, not have different probes go to the same fucking places. I bet redditors eat this shit up but idk cuz i dont go there.
Why the fucking fuck would they have 2 different rovers follow such similar/close paths?
Prior rovers were kinda shit, they see something interesting with the first rover and send a second to that specific area with a specific kit to test/gather data for that specific thing, check up on the prior rover to see how it held up and how they can improve in the future.
rocks and stones are natural, litter is not - it is artificial and rocks and stones look pleasing, litter doesn't, probably 'cos it's unnatrual i.e. out of place. I pick up litter in my hood.
Humans are natural. The materials we use is natural. Our impact is natural.
Rocks are literally litter. Zero use for any creature yet right under your fucking noise you were oblivious to that fact that litter like cans or bottles or mylar or plastic is just joining other litter. Rocks.
Mars is a pristine environment. More foreign material means more possible false positives. That heat shield probably has organic molecules in in. If it breaks down and later someone scoops up and analyses the dirt with bits of micro plastic in it, it would be hard to tell if it is from mars life or earth life.
Mylar IS the contamination, idiot. It's fundamentally different than "just a rock" because the rocks aren't supposed to have organic chemicals in it. But, a mylar sheet is 100% organic chemicals. Eventually that mylar sheet is going to break down and spread around the planet and now all the rocks have organic chemicals in them.
The whole point of visiting Mars is to find out if there's life there. The rovers aren't looking for little green men. They are looking for chemical signatures. That's the problem. The sensors cant tell the difference between a Mars organic chemical and a piece of micro plastic from Earth.

That's just a couple of decent reasons.

One in a billion chance mylar has contamination after all the clean procedures.
Do you have any perspective or is that how you became an emotionally driven envirocunt?

You call mylar unwanted. (contaminant).
Nothing and no one wants rocks. Space boulders.
The entire surface of Mars is contaminated.
But as a human hating environmentcunt you ignore the forest for all the trees that exposes your bias and hypocrisy.
Know that with the collapse underway the survivors will be done tolerating your hate-filled kind
