We could also make the companies who figured how to make figure out a way to get rid of styrofoam. They made it, they understand it. They shouldn’t be allowed to make it if they can’t get rid of it

Or into our streams and rivers as live bait.

It's a marriage of "you vill eet ze boogs" and plastic poisoning for the entire western world.

Cockroaches eat styrofoam peanuts. I guess those are made of cellulose or something.

We lived in this horrible place briefly because it was a good location for commuting to somewhere that one of us needed to be. Anyhow, it came complete with giant cockroaches who would crawl under the door and say hi. Well, one day something got delivered with all these pink packing peanuts and some spilled by the door. There was an odd crunching noise, like a creature munching; the dog was asleep, and the cat was elsewhere, and the iguana was up on top of the curtainrod by my desk where he liked to stay, so WTF was making munching noises. Well, after a quick search, we saw a giant roach had come under the door and was contentedly munching a pink packing peanut, not even caring that we were looking. Well, he got stomped on, [which mildly annoyed him] kicked out the door, we picked up those peanuts, and moved somewhere ostensibly nicer before too long.
