The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) is actually a right-wing party. Many in Japan see Abe as "far-right" or even "fascist."

Among other things, he wanted Article 9 of their constitution amended so they could mobilize their military for defending allies or territories from "impending" attack. As it stands, they're only allowed to use their military for absolute defense (i.e. preventing an attack on Japan itself).

His government also refused rapefugees saying that Japan has its own problems to worry about.

Last I checked someone went and completely changed the Wikipedia pages and flooded the top search results with information saying "ainu and jomon are completely Asian. Nothing to see here. Keep moving people". And all of the photos on Wikipedia have been replaced with blatantly Asian looking people, even though that is definitely not what ainu and jomon looked like.

They're also trying to say the DNA results show a strong coorelation to Asians, which we cannot trust especially since they're shoving that bullshit imagery in our face at the same time... And all of a sudden all questions are answered and the science is settled.
