Right? 250k would be a great house in a nice neighborhood. That's around what my parent's paid for our house on Long Island. Sold it for almost 3 times that..

Now that price will just buy you a really fucked up house with bullet holes, fire damage, and squatters in the basement, probably somewhere super nice like detroit or philly with the very most *diverse* neighbors.
