Klaus Nomi was an amazingly talented counter tenor. One of my favorites is him singing The Cold Song from Purcell's "King Arthur". Even if you don't like orchestral music, you have to admire his mastery of this challenging song.

Klaus was a instrumental player in New Wave. Gary Numan was a little easier to digest for America. Cars became a pop sensation.
