While property taxes do in part fund schools it isn't the primary source. Each student is essentially a win fall of federal funding for each child that we all pay for.
It's easy, make parents pay for their childrens education. This is not a right, it's a choice. If you love your kids you will pay to have them educated, if not, they can dig ditches. Not every child is a future scientist and until we stop acting like they are this downfall will continue.
