What i've found throughout this two year clown show is that if you actually read the rules carefully, almost nothing is enforceable. people talk about having to be vaxxed to get a job - unless you work for a State government organization they can't actually verify it anywhere in the US. neither can the airline. neither can any foreign countries. in any country where they have digital systems you'll find that your doctor and nurse are often quite happy to dump the injection down the sink and sign off. it's certainly not illegal to ask.

If we are not deemed responsible in an official capacity we will feel no responsibility at all for our actions. There's no empathy or human duty to one another.

Everything is beurocratic, we feel like the rules justify themselves, if the rules say you can't do something, we think we are unable to do it, likewise, if we are told to do something by the authorities, we feelnas though we have to do them.

In America, when given a set of rules, you demand reasons to justify the rules, that's an alien mindset up north. If the rules say "x" then that's why "x" just be.
