It's legitimately hilarious; these mouth-breathing, smooth-brain Darwin award candidates are tackling rampant criminality, by intentionally inviting more rampant criminality.

We would used to have dealt with this by first demanding that the cops arrest the criminals, even if it made the truth apparent that most of the crooks aren't white.

Then, when the cops refused, we'd form a vigilante mob and punish the treasonous bastards before hunting down the murderers, rapists, and thieves who were terrorizing the city, and doing the job of the police for them, but with far more brutality.

Finally, if the government steps in to shut us down, we'd fight off the government until they accept our terms that making the numbers look right is not worth the loss of life and livelihood of our town's people.

BTW, they will pretend that lynching squads were all a bunch of whites going after blacks, what they wont show you is that blacks also joined the squads on occasion, especially when the nigger being hanged for his crimes had black victims, also, most of the people who got lynched were white, because most of the criminals who committed crimes worthy of lynching were white (in terms of absolute numbers, not by proportion to population share, as we all know the answer when put in those terms, so it's only by dint of the white majority on those areas that they were the bulk of the hanging convicts).

I'd like a series where white time travellers go back to stop the lynchings of innocent black men, and are disappointed when almost all the lynchings that happen around them are of white criminals.

Then when it's a black man, we can see the events of "killing a mockingbird" unfold, and it turns out not only was the black man on trial guilty as hell of what he was accused of, his real crimes were even worse than what he was accused of (because no one knew about it but the lawyers and judges, and they wanted to keep it all just to the things which the public knew of).

Atticus Finch, rather than a man of honor and virtue, was instead a very pragmatic utilitarian-minded man that was essentially contracted by the judge to make him at least appear to be innocent, why? to prevent the local blacks from rioting and killing whites.

The black man's right hand was 100% healthy, not damaged or paralyzed at all, the defense was straight up fabricated by Atticus to make his client look good in court, the woman was not attracted to the guy who raped her (and attempted to kill her before she could escape), in fact, she had been harassed and terrorized repeatedly by the assailant and it was when he found out he was to be terminated from his employment on that account that he decided to get back at her by rape and murder (he even had a plan to dispose of her body so no one would know).

Last, the client was also clearly a monster, very open in his private conversations with finch that he took joy in the idea of raping and killing a white women he had worked for, his advisement to be quiet and play the role of a silent and soft spoken man was because of how horrible the things that came out of his mouth were, and also was achieved from him by way bribery and threats, followed by a lot of practice and coaching.

As cynical as the portrayal is of these version of events are, Atticus is doing this because he wants to limit the amount of trouble that would come from an honest trial, even if it means throwing the woman under a bus and accusing an innocent man of helping her make the charges up, essentially punishing him for helping a raped and nearly murdered woman in need.

The black man was arranged to be killed by Atticus after losing his case, he was a loose end to tie up, especially after he had got the bright idea of threatening to expose the judge and his defenders of the falseness of their defense, and the slander of innocent white people, one of whom was the victim of a rape who would kill herself as a result of this dishonest defense.

The time travelers, being privy to all this truth about the events that would later be adapted into a novel, would have their talk at the end about them and conclude, as they always do, that the truth needs to be kept secret so that the "lesson of the story" could be preserved.

A big theme with all the episodes of this hypothetical TV show is that there are three truths, the cultural truth, assumptions society makes upon which their morals and political policies rest, and the actual truth, which may not be in line with the truth that is culturally acceptable, and the perceived truth, the vision of reality that the average joe has, which must be kept in line with the cultural truth for the sake of maintaining the status quo, the disparity between the first two truths must be hidden from the average person to maintain the third truth's alignment with the first and not the second, and this sometimes requires some actions that may be perceived as being dodgy to those in the know.

For example, the cultural truth is that all people are equally likely to commit any sort of crime, the reality is that some people commit a lot more crime than others in proportion to their share of the population, the fix to maintain the third reality in alignment with the first is to intentionally allow some people to get away with crimes on the basis of their race, and too unjustly "get" people of another race in order to make the numbers look more like they would if they weren't doing racial profiling and everyone was equally likely to commit crimes regardless of their racial background.

Some people might be upset at letting black murderers go free while innocent white people get wrongfully grabbed on suspicion of murder, but the utilitarian morality comes into play here - the status quo must be preserved, and for any radical shifts in society to be avoided, you need to maintain the illusion that everything is exactly as it needs to be for the cultural ideals of that society to remain unchallenged by the observations of true reality made by the populace.

Just as the belief in the biblical God, beings, souls, afterlife, miracles, history, etc. is required for a Christian society to function, the belief in egalitarianism and that no probabilities could be assessed from "superficial" characteristics like race (which doesn't even exist) is a must for a multiracial society to function.

Every society has one big myth, one unfounded, and unjustified assumption that is more than likely false, if not downright known to be false, from which the moral foundations of that society are derived, these superstitious ideas cannot be examined honestly and critically, because then their hollow fragility would be exposed, and the pillars upon which the society was built would be shaken, from which point the fall is inevitable.

All it takes is a little crack in faith for the whole fucking thing to be doomed, so you stop the questions and examinations before they begin, how? through making it taboo to openly display doubt or skepticism regarding the great foundational assumption. People can doubt in their heads so long as they don't openly do so, it's no threat, you can tolerate a fringe group for the most part, as cracking down on them hard without a good explanation for your actions only sows interest in the doubters.

Instead, it's better to just use various means to quarantine their influence on others, label them crazy, evil, stupid, indoctrinated, or having some ulterior motive that even they might not be fully aware of, and you can convince people to ignore them, thus cutting down their influence without drawing the wrong type of attention to their questions and/or claims.

But the best way to protect your lies is to never expose them, never say anything that could possibly lead to the myth being threatened, only ever sell the good parts, and never mention the flaws when not doing so hurts the myth even more, you can lie all you want, so long as your lies are never exposed, they are indistinguishable from truth, which lies in perception, not reality.

Things can be true in one sense, while being false in another, and you need to apply the utilitarian morality, to realize that the cultural truth which your society is built upon is of greater importance than the truth about reality, especially since having a population knowing the real truth will cause people to be hurt in far greater numbers and all at once compared to the result of maintaining the cultural truth, which only requires far less people to be harmed, and over a long period of time.

The other big concern is that the cultural truth is usually depicting the world as a much nicer, pleasant, and fair place than the real truth, believing in it is preferable to seeing the nihilistic nature of how history and science actually operate, then you'd have to find a positive perspective where nothing inherently positive or negative exists, that's absurd, straight up absurdism, or you'd have to derive meaning from inside yourself instead of finding it out in the universe, which is what Nietzsche advised, and he's one of the far-right bad guys in our culture, who we regard as being only a step away from nazism (which he certainly had a bit of influence in, but not nearly as much as we pretend he did, we greatly exaggerated his role as he says things that are easier to make sound scary and evil compared to what actual nazis were saying, we don;t need to quote mine ol' Freddy N as much as we do someone like Hitler or Goebbels).

Basically, even if the Holocaust story was totally false, it's better not to let people know, because the lesson the story teaches is what is truly important to our society, that lesson being that we should never tolerate those who collectivize around their race or ethnicity, and blame another racial or ethnic group of people for their problems, then permit them to start talking about doing something about it.

Though that's exactly what we do in our society, as we actively encourage every racial group but one to collectivize, and have them all blame that one racial group we forbid to collectivize for the problems of all the others (until the wealthiest among us decide that they belong on the other side of this treatment), and we also openly express enthusiasm about the day when this one race is extinct (no longer existing as a distinct racial group).

The more common use of the holocaust legend is to support domestic and international policy, to start wars, permit ethnic cleansings, and to give power to land grabs holding and expanding their territory, as well as to pass these larger agenda plans for the world to be transformed such that the people those terrible nazis came from are denied any political representation, eventually being wiped out, along with the populations related to them (even those who helped us defeat the nazis).

Finally, the jews, who are the only holocaust victims that matter for this purpose, are to be given absolute power as a collective because they deserve everything for the genocide they were victims of. The victims of other genocides around that time get nothing but us occasionally feeling bad about them when they are mentioned, the roles of the jews in organizing and perpetrating all of them (ukraine, armenia, etc.) are to be ignored.

Saying the jews have power is false in the sense of cultural truth, it's a conspiracy theory borne only of hatred, saying they have it all is true only in reality, the best thing to do here is to make it something everyone knows, but pretends to ignore, and make up some reason, any reason, why this is totally justifiable as being the case without there being some organization on the part of jews to seize power and then gradually make life hell for the gentiles.

Ignore it until you have to mention it, then either downplay it's significance or try to spin it as only having positive valid interpretations for the sake of the big foundational belief at the heart of our society.
