Started a new remote job 3 weeks ago and here's how it's going

submitted by anon to AnonWhatever 2.8 yearsJul 27, 2022 09:11:43 ago (+18/-0)     (AnonWhatever)

Diversity hires up the ass. Several of my bosses are Jewish.

Most troubleshooting calls we get are for long term employee teams (of women) who seem to be trying to pass all work on to our all male team.

I think I've been hired because their whole system was starting to crash and they couldn't run the skeleton crew situation any longer. So now I'm here at crunch time and I think they're going to start asking me to jump into stuff that I definitely have not been trained on. It takes at least a year to get decent at using their software.

I hope this goes well.

Fuck this. Save, the moment you can. Start your own business. Stop working for kikes.

Ive been in a situation like that before. What happens is they come to give you grief when you can't do the impossible. The problems that everyone created become your problems and your fault. This continues until you reject the state of things. At which point you either quit or were fired and a new sacrificial lamb is nudged into your former position. There is no gratitude or reward to be found.
Since OP lives in kike city they should not expect personal competence or effort to outweigh what someone is born as.

This is the way.

This could go one of two ways: Either OP becomes a star and is recognized as such with promotions and pay bumps, or they are milking OP for all his value while at the same time tacitly putting a bullseye on his back so when he outlives his usefulness AKA has highlighted the ineffectiveness of his bosses too greatly they have excuses to scapegoat and then fire him.

But seriously there's really only one way this is going to turn out and you can probably guess which it is.

OP's best move at this point is to be gathering damning evidence and documenting ever single thing he is asked to do, in the hope it will protect him when they come for him.

Nah, no pay bumps. You just keep your job come lay off time. The great part is when you finally walk off the job you leave them swinging high.

I hope this goes well.

It won't. Welckme to Clown World.

Similar scenario here. I took a pay drop back in 2021 to take a new position where being "remote-only" was allowed. I quickly learned to lower my work ethics to the lowest common denominator, I only give my 10% but still outperform all the niggers, bosses still impressed.

That's quite the stack to learn if it takes a year? Does it not leverage a lot of past historic experience much, or is it a custom-built behemoth they're riding?

I'm not sure of your involvement, but document your shit, watch your back, and be sure to spend time on backup plans as you'll likely need them and even if not flushed out, you can at least propose a half baked alternative which could then be solved for.

It's all proprietary software. Lots of disjointed programs handling stuff. I guess they are a growing business and their systems are really being stressed now (so they say).

I'm pretty sketched out so far since I've been mostly reading and practicing some new coding stuff this entire time with minimal training or job shadowing.

Wish you luck hopefully it pays you well enough to put up with it.

Women do not belong in the work place.

One at an office filling out a form erased everything she had been working on with a swipe of her aquatic themed 10 inch pinky nail.

Useless.

Log everything. The trouble calls are sometimes used as an excuse for them missing a deadline. Sorry boss, the computer fucked up, we've been waiting on IT to fix it.

I've seen high quality performers get fired plenty of times. The company just took the hit.

Remember that YOU are always job one. For myself, I always rode for the brand, but when the assholes became too assholeish, I walked out the door taking their key accounts to my own brand new business. It wasn't easy. It wasn't fast, and at times it made me mental when I was stuck in that rut ass deep in asshole bosses while knowing where I needed to go.

In the end, it was sweet sweet retribution.

it could always be worse. Always look on the bright side of life:

seriously though, don't let the crap weigh you down. learn what you can, make the best of where you are at, and prepare for the next job/level 1 or 2 years down the road. no job will be perfect.
