Jesus had some things to say about the moral obligation of the rich to help the poor. These cons using the church to enrich themselves (no different than the Vatican) isn’t going to go over well on judgement day, if they actually believe what they preach. I don’t think they do. They know it’s just a grift. This makes me sound like a holy roller, but I’ve only been in church for weddings, funerals, and one baptism. Still, I’m a better Christian/Catholic than these bejeweled ‘holy’ men.
I haven’t broken any of the top ten God rules yet, and I don’t even go to church. My dad was a very decent man, that’s where you get it, not from some huckster wearing a cape and golden boots.
