Damn, I like cicadas. They sound like summer and they're fucking interesting as hell. I like golden silk orb weavers too though, so we're breaking even here.

If you happen to come across a cicada mid-metamorphisis, when it's drying it's freshly grown wings, those wings have a green and blue iridescence to them. They're pretty awesome.

I used to love spiders as a wee lad. Then my dad let me watch arachnophobia. Never again. As a matter of fact, burn it ALL down.

We went and saw that at the dollar movie theater. I thought it was the stupidest thing I'd ever seen. Other things overshadowed it after the fact; perhaps I should see it again.
