Never thought of it that way and I can see the merit in that view.
You see the terminated clumps come out
Been using them for many years and that's never happened to us.
It can lead to different complications
Never heard of this and, without contesting the statement, I can relate that our experience has been good. In fact, with one of them, we had planned to conceive the next month and it just so happened that she already had a fertilized egg making its way down to the uterus.
and the thought in the back of the mind of being a baby murderer probably doesn't help
Again, never thought of it that way. With the understanding that this is a contentious issue, I'm not planning to debate.
Cutting off a female's nature to reproduce is always going to have consequences, especially when done in an untimely point in life like peak fertility
Though our experience has been otherwise, I can't help but feel that there is a kernel of truth in this. There is much that we do not know. Is it possible, for instance, that the female body knows that the egg has been fertilized and thus begins marshaling resources toward gestation? I fully permit the possibility of continual "false alarms" as potentiating unwanted side-effects.
The point of hormonal iud and things like that ring thing that sits on the cervix, is that because the hormones are being deposited very close to where they are needed & within the relevant structure itself, the dosage is much much lower when compared to a pill that gets swallowed and then enters the 'general' bloodstream
wife had one once. it would fuck up my dick, stabbing and cutting, making the experience even less enjoyable than it already was thanks to male genital mutilation.
Well, IUD stands for “inter uterine device” and is not a hormone, but an actual device, so there’s that. Also, if your dick is long enough you can feel if one is there when pounding out a slut who has one.
There are hormonal IUDs in addition to the non-hormonal copper variety. And yeah... what you say is true.
Depending on how long the string is, it may or may not be frequently encountered. Mrs. Fascinus has had many of them over the years (copper IUDs, not hormonal) in-between broods. She started asking them to trim the string short after the first one.

It's hormones which control a lot of your personality, be prepared for her to act like she's always on the rag, except for when she is on the rag.
If you aren't greedy the pull out method works just fine.

I'm no mutant and I have been blessed. I can tell you that, in all the years we've used them, I've only ever encountered the actual device once... and it turned out badly for me: https://www.voat.xyz/viewpost.php?postid=627261a9c5274&commentid=62746e292cc98
*Edit: Added "(copper IUDs, not hormonal)"
