Yours are taken by a digital camera on earth through our atmosphere.

You need a telescope to get some definition, a digital camera won't cut it.

The nasa pic is taken through only one thin atmosphere, Mars. Not through our thick soup of various elements and compounds.

You've never looked at a planet nor a star through a telescope.

You need to use the proper tools for the job.

I can also take shitty photos with my digital camera.

I can also see detail with my eyes through a telescope I bought for 100USD a decade ago.

I have and I don't see anything but small balls of light and/or energy. To assume otherwise would be completely retarded. Do you think the sun is a solid mass as well?

Stars are balls of light, I'm glad we agree on that. Big objects from far away can appear small. I never said that plasma was solid. Plasma is its own state of matter, different from a solid.
