No. On the round Earth the sun moves across the sky each day because the Earth rotates. The distance is almost exactly the same all day, and so the size will be the same. Flat Earthers claim the sun recedes into the distance -- hence it would get smaller and smaller as it goes from noon to sunset. You can prove things by observation and we have observed what appears to be eclipses as explained by the "official story". Now, it is certainly possible that we are not understanding what we are seeing and drawing the wrong conclusion based on our observations, but you can prove things using observation. This is most definitely a part of the scientific method.
4. I'll ask again, you think the moon may be real. Is it round like a disk or like a globe? And the issue with the moon being real or projection doesn't necessarily show the earth is flat or round but does test the extent of your delusion and whether you'll insist that projectors are being used to con the people of the earth. A globed moon and a globed sun suggest that other globed celestial bodies exist and give more weight to the concept that the earth is globed as well. Particularly is those other globes are moving in ways that would intercept or collide with the infinite plane of flat earth. And again, observation is a way to prove things and we (like I am capable of doing it myself, and have) have observed the moon to be what appears to be a globe. We have also observed the sun to be a globe as we rotate around it.

I can, and have, buy a telescope and look at the moon, in detail. We can go to observatories and see the moon with very strong telescopes. Are those fake? We can see the sun. Are the images from SOHO to be taken as acts of faith? Despite the ability to verify what we are looking at with the use of other instruments, which I will discuss.
5. You aren't done talking about the sun and moon. Talking about other celestial bodies does several things. If a celestial body is moving in a way that would be a collision course with the earth's infinite plane, but doesn't collide with the earth, the suggestion becomes that the earth's plane isn't infinite. If you agree that we can view the sun's surface and that the sun is a globe, observations would suggest that we are either traveling around the sun or that the sun is rotating as it travels around the earth. But these observations can be used in conjunction with other observations to make very clear determinations. And yes, these determinations are very capable of being used to either confirm or explain away a round or flat earth theory.
6. Vanishing point is a linear concept. As an object gets further away it appears to move toward a horizon and come together. This is a linear phenomenon. And you can explain vanishing point with the use of your boat analogy, sure. You zoom in to a ship that looks like it's going over the horizon, and you can still see the ship. However, vanishing point doesn't explain the half set sun. 10 minutes before that sun is half set you can see the full sun, and 10 minutes later, when it is half set, zooming in will not restore the full sun. When the sun is fully set, zooming in will not restore that full sun. However, when the sun is half set, quickly gaining altitude will restore some of the sun setting, even with no zoom. I've done this exact thing numerous times. Pilots can get a double sun set by taking off as the sun is setting and climbing altitude.
Also, when the sun is half set, vanishing point would suggest that there would be a linear setting of the sun. Meaning as the far end of the sun got further away it would move to the vanishing point and get smaller as the close side of the sun remained larger. If this were the case, the sun would set in a conical shape, not in a round shape.
7. Distance to the sun. While the distance to the moon cannot be proven to you because you refuse to believe the likely of lasers and laser distance measuring, the sun's distance can easily be proven using equipment that anyone can buy and use. The sun gives off light that we can all see. It also gives off radiation that can be, and has been, detected. The sun gives of photon/gamma radiation. The sun gives off beta (electron) radiation. And the sun gives of alpha (proton) radiation. We have cheap and readily available equipment to detect these types of radiation. Now, is it an act of faith to rely on currently used equipment to detect this exact thing or must we actually set the equipment up ourselves?
So, when a coronal mass ejection event happens, the sun releases a burst of all three types of radiation. All the types of radiation travel at known and proven speeds. With the use of SOHO, we can see the event. But even without a visual detection we can detect the event with equipment that detects gamma/photon radiation. It travels at the same speed as light, so at the same time we see the event, we can detect the gamma radiation from the event. At a very consistent time later, we can detect the beta radiation. This beta radiation is the cause of solar warnings that we often get with regards to cellular, GPS, and satellite interference. There are times when aircraft cannot fly using only GPS navigation because of these warnings. Beta radiation is caused by electrons traveling at a very specific speed, so we know with great precision when they will get to earth after we see the CME and detect the gamma radiation from the CME. with the two different types of radiation and their known speed differences, we can calculate the distance from the sun.
That being said, your assertion that the sun is closer than the say it is, is plain wrong.
8. Magnetic poles. All magnets have a North and South pole. All of them. And the lines of Flux of a magnet behave all the same way. They flow from a north to a south and are detectable by using Magnetic materials. A compass is calibrated to align with the Flux. Compasses do not "point north". That's not how they work. Compasses align themselves with the lines of Magnetic Flux and are then when the compass is in stable alignment with the magnetic Flux, they are marked as north and south. If you were to take another magnet and move it close to a compass, that compass will no longer point north because the Magnetic Flux that it has aligned with are not the Magnetic lines of Flux from the earth.
That being said. The concept of "no South pole" is horseshit. There is always a South pole to any magnet. Always.
9. The equaliateral triangle experiment. At the north pole, assuming that the north pole and Magnetic north pole are the same (which they are not, but close enough), you can travel 30 miles due South, make a 90 degree turn, travel 30 miles, make another 90 turn and travel 30 miles back to the original point. This has been done, and you're welcomed to do it too. It doesn't have to be 30 miles, it can be 300, and the same result occurs.
Now, you can say that the north pole is the center of a disk shaped earth, so that works, too. And you'd be right. But you can perform this exact same experiment on the south pole and get the same results. Now, are you going to call this an act of faith because I haven't done it, personally? You'd think if this were possible, you could crowd fund $20k and make the greatest revelation the world has ever known and disprove globe theory by showing this experiment not be the case on the South pole. Yet no one, in the history of man kind, has ever done it. Wanna guess why?

The picture I posted with the setting sun shows diffraction. The diffraction is caused by when looking at the sun or a distant boat is caused by particulate in the atmosphere. As the incident angle lessens relative to the ground, the more of the aatmospheres particulate you must look through to see the object. Yes, basic shit.
There is also a bending of light at low incident angles with the earth's surface. We see this phenomenon similarly play out with sonar and sound when detecting submarines by other submarines in the ocean. More basic shit.
If that table in your video was dustier, it would diffract more and the effect would be greater.

No. On the round Earth the sun moves across the sky each day because the Earth rotates. The distance is almost exactly the same all day, and so the size will be the same. Flat Earthers claim the sun recedes into the distance -- hence it would get smaller and smaller as it goes from noon to sunset. 3. Proof and explanation are not the same thing. I asked you if the "official story" explains eclipses, and you said "no" and insisted that eclipses are impossible to prove. You can prove things by observation and we have observed what appears to be eclipses as explained by the "official story". Now, it is certainly possible that we are not understanding what we are seeing and drawing the wrong conclusion based on our observations, but you can prove things using observation. This is most definitely a part of the scientific method.
4. I'll ask again, you think the moon may be real. Is it round like a disk or like a globe? And the issue with the moon being real or projection doesn't necessarily show the earth is flat or round but does test the extent of your delusion and whether you'll insist that projectors are being used to con the people of the earth. A globed moon and a globed sun suggest that other globed celestial bodies exist and give more weight to the concept that the earth is globed as well. Particularly is those other globes are moving in ways that would intercept or collide with the infinite plane of flat earth. And again, observation is a way to prove things and we (like I am capable of doing it myself, and have) have observed the moon to be what appears to be a globe. We have also observed the sun to be a globe as we rotate around it.

I can, and have, buy a telescope and look at the moon, in detail. We can go to observatories and see the moon with very strong telescopes. Are those fake? We can see the sun. Are the images from SOHO to be taken as acts of faith? Despite the ability to verify what we are looking at with the use of other instruments, which I will discuss.
5. You aren't done talking about the sun and moon. Talking about other celestial bodies does several things. If a celestial body is moving in a way that would be a collision course with the earth's infinite plane, but doesn't collide with the earth, the suggestion becomes that the earth's plane isn't infinite. If you agree that we can view the sun's surface and that the sun is a globe, observations would suggest that we are either traveling around the sun or that the sun is rotating as it travels around the earth. But these observations can be used in conjunction with other observations to make very clear determinations. And yes, these determinations are very capable of being used to either confirm or explain away a round or flat earth theory.
6. Vanishing point is a linear concept. As an object gets further away it appears to move toward a horizon and come together. This is a linear phenomenon. And you can explain vanishing point with the use of your boat analogy, sure. You zoom in to a ship that looks like it's going over the horizon, and you can still see the ship. However, vanishing point doesn't explain the half set sun. 10 minutes before that sun is half set you can see the full sun, and 10 minutes later, when it is half set, zooming in will not restore the full sun. When the sun is fully set, zooming in will not restore that full sun. However, when the sun is half set, quickly gaining altitude will restore some of the sun setting, even with no zoom. I've done this exact thing numerous times. Pilots can get a double sun set by taking off as the sun is setting and climbing altitude.
Also, when the sun is half set, vanishing point would suggest that there would be a linear setting of the sun. Meaning as the far end of the sun got further away it would move to the vanishing point and get smaller as the close side of the sun remained larger. If this were the case, the sun would set in a conical shape, not in a round shape.
7. Distance to the sun. While the distance to the moon cannot be proven to you because you refuse to believe the likely of lasers and laser distance measuring, the sun's distance can easily be proven using equipment that anyone can buy and use. The sun gives off light that we can all see. It also gives off radiation that can be, and has been, detected. The sun gives of photon/gamma radiation. The sun gives off beta (electron) radiation. And the sun gives of alpha (proton) radiation. We have cheap and readily available equipment to detect these types of radiation. Now, is it an act of faith to rely on currently used equipment to detect this exact thing or must we actually set the equipment up ourselves?
So, when a coronal mass ejection event happens, the sun releases a burst of all three types of radiation. All the types of radiation travel at known and proven speeds. With the use of SOHO, we can see the event. But even without a visual detection we can detect the event with equipment that detects gamma/photon radiation. It travels at the same speed as light, so at the same time we see the event, we can detect the gamma radiation from the event. At a very consistent time later, we can detect the beta radiation. This beta radiation is the cause of solar warnings that we often get with regards to cellular, GPS, and satellite interference. There are times when aircraft cannot fly using only GPS navigation because of these warnings. Beta radiation is caused by electrons traveling at a very specific speed, so we know with great precision when they will get to earth after we see the CME and detect the gamma radiation from the CME. with the two different types of radiation and their known speed differences, we can calculate the distance from the sun.
That being said, your assertion that the sun is closer than the say it is, is plain wrong.
8. Magnetic poles. All magnets have a North and South pole. All of them. And the lines of Flux of a magnet behave all the same way. They flow from a north to a south and are detectable by using Magnetic materials. A compass is calibrated to align with the Flux. Compasses do not "point north". That's not how they work. Compasses align themselves with the lines of Magnetic Flux and are then when the compass is in stable alignment with the magnetic Flux, they are marked as north and south. If you were to take another magnet and move it close to a compass, that compass will no longer point north because the Magnetic Flux that it has aligned with are not the Magnetic lines of Flux from the earth.
That being said. The concept of "no South pole" is horseshit. There is always a South pole to any magnet. Always.
9. The equaliateral triangle experiment. At the north pole, assuming that the north pole and Magnetic north pole are the same (which they are not, but close enough), you can travel 30 miles due South, make a 90 degree turn, travel 30 miles, make another 90 turn and travel 30 miles back to the original point. This has been done, and you're welcomed to do it too. It doesn't have to be 30 miles, it can be 300, and the same result occurs.
Now, you can say that the north pole is the center of a disk shaped earth, so that works, too. And you'd be right. But you can perform this exact same experiment on the south pole and get the same results. Now, are you going to call this an act of faith because I haven't done it, personally? You'd think if this were possible, you could crowd fund $20k and make the greatest revelation the world has ever known and disprove globe theory by showing this experiment not be the case on the South pole. Yet no one, in the history of man kind, has ever done it. Wanna guess why?

1. You're saying that the distance from you to the sun changes by enough distance that the sun falls into the horizon at the vanishing point? Correct? Do you have any idea how close or how far the sun gets away from you? I mean, we can measure the distances between land masses without faith. Can you tell me the distance to the sun?
2. The video isn't demonstrating vanishing point. The 1 minute video that you posted is demonstrating diffraction. This is a very known phenomenon that has to do with light and incident angles. The picture I posted with the setting sun shows diffraction. The diffraction is caused by when looking at the sun or a distant boat is caused by particulate in the atmosphere. As the incident angle lessens relative to the ground, the more of the aatmospheres particulate you must look through to see the object. Yes, basic shit.
There is also a bending of light at low incident angles with the earth's surface. We see this phenomenon similarly play out with sonar and sound when detecting submarines by other submarines in the ocean. More basic shit.
If that table in your video was dustier, it would diffract more and the effect would be greater.
I'm sure you've had people explain this phenomenon when they explain the earth's curvature doesn't line up with certain equations. Of course, when they use the argument, you'll dismiss it, amirite?

Cave men also did not understand why water boils when it is heated, yet water boiled when heated. Not understanding some phenomenon, does not mean the phenomenon does not exist or that it does not happen as predicted.
So do not use straw man arguments. We understand gravity well enough, so that the models we use in the real world for calculations, match what we observe in our experiments.
Flat earth has no model for anything. There is no mathematical flat earth model with any predictive value of any kind. Try and predict eclipses with a flat earth model. Try and predict seasons, or the exact locations of stars and their relation to the moon and the sun or the other planets. You cannot do it. The globe earth model does it all, and it does it to an extreme accuracy, and it can do it years in advance.
Flat earth can't do any of it, because it's simply not a working model. It's just wrong.

Here there are 4 pictures of earth allegedly from 120,000 feet. If the Earth was a infinite plane, in all directions you wouldn't be able to see space (black, or void) in the background. If these were actual pictures, the earth would have to be round, or curved with an edge.
1C. If you close your eyes in an airplane in smooth air you could be going hundreds of miles an hour, gradually climbing or decending, and sense no movement. We sense movement from visual cues and our inner ear equilibrium, which is not very good at sensing motion without visual cues.
2A and B What is the black area in the picture mentioned above?
3A. You say asking about the moon being real is a stupid question. Others say the moon is a projection. Are they stupid?
3B. Ok, which do you believe? A flat round moon or a sphere?
3C there are different kinds of eclipses relative to the moon? Examples?
4A okay, the sun is real. Is itb the center of the solar system?
4B the question is not imprecise. The question was intentionally open and broad. Do you think the sun is flat and round or a globe?
4C so you're saying the sun goes beyond the distance that we can see in the west and returns to a perceptible distance from the east the next day. Explain how this works.
4D. It appears to move in one direction, correct? From east to west. How does it get back to the east?
My questions are broad to get a starting point for discussion.
As for your video. It's long as fuck, but all the flat earthers here suggest that I'm subject to disinformation from liars. Why would this video be any different? This is a fascinating admission. The way the sun behaves is trivially explained by a spherical Earth.
But you're the one that rejects all simple, spherical explanations, while swallowing flat Earth explanations that don't even make sense to you.
I'll give you a response to some things within the first 10 minutes. It's enough to show just how bad the flat Earth position is, even by flat Earth heroes like Eric Dubay:
o Shows the flat Earth sun model, but the sun would always be visible from anywhere on Earth in such a model. That and the way it sets below the horizon is a trivial confirmation of a spherical Earth.
o Talks about the stars rotating around the North star Polaris, but there's a corresponding southern pole around with the stars rotate. This makes no sense on a flat Earth, but is trivial on a spherical Earth.
