I can't even conceptualize two million years. How the rusty fuck can they feel competent recreating an extinct hominid that lived that long ago with a dusty pile of bones? Ya know, unless they were smeared with chicken grease?
From the shape of bones they can recreate where ligaments attach too and muscle. From DNA scientists can recreate hairtype, skin pigmentation and a host of other articles. I surmise that this recreation is probably incredibly accurate.
They can't tell you that it has pancake tittes by looking at DNA. No fucking way. No fucking way some genetics scientists got paid to study the correlation between DNA and titty type. No fucking way. So there had to be creative license taken, right? How much, we don't know. What we can safely assume is that it was probably a middle aged cat lady that came up with it, otherwise it'd have some knockers.

‣Twin studies have shown that breast size is about 56% heritable
‣Breast shape and size are determined by the amount of fat and its distribution but can also be affected by exercise.
‣One of the SNPs, rs12173570, is known to regulate the expression of the estrogen receptor gene, which plays a vital role in breast growth and in the majority of breast cancer cases (known as “ER+” or “hormone positive” types).
Genetics and diet play a massive role in breast tissue size and shape.
DNA has a half-life of approximately 521 years, meaning that it would be broken down so much as to be useless after about 1 million years.
Homo erectus species lived between 100,000 and 1.6 million years ago, although some estimates extend this to between 35,000 and 1.8 million years ago.
It is possible to get some DNA from some samples.
Deep in the hominin’s teeth, proteins lingered, degraded but still identifiable. When scientists analysed them earlier this year, they detected collagen, a structural support protein found in bone and other tissues. And in its chemical signature was a single amino-acid variant that isn’t present in the collagen of modern humans or Neanderthals — instead, it flagged the jawbone as belonging to a member of the mysterious hominin group called Denisovans1.

They aren't quite as dark as Africans, or a lot of Aussie abos. They got dem National Geographic titties and frizzy hair like that too.
