In 1996, Terry Davis had a revelation from God. Though he’d lapsed from his Catholic upbringing into atheism, he could not turn away from the mandate handed down to him from Heaven: build the Third Temple, as is prophesied in the Bible. So Terry got to work and a decade later, he had made a new operating system, from scratch, all by himself.

Terry Davis was a nutter. Let him be an example of what happens to you when you lose your mind and let religion fill in the void.

Don't get me wrong, he was extremely talented, but his talent was wasted on creating a dated 1980s PC operating system with some cringe Bible games. He ended up homeless because he lashed out at his parents in one of his schizophrenic episodes.
