Yeah, problem is they'll flee and ask for the same thing in their new states. NYers should be shot on sight when seen fleeing that shithole.

You have Chelsea Houses on like 26th and 9th Avenue and then you have Fulton Houses on like 19th Street and 9th. If those residents think that area is bad, they should go 10 blocks north on 8th and 9th Avenue between like 31st and 37th Street. It is so bad that the McDonalds on 35th Street does hand to hand dope deals right inside and more than half the indoor dining is junkies.

Absolutely - we all know that the houses are where the queers and roasties in chelsea buy their drugs. Notice how the story makes no mention at all of why people are going to this location, or who is selling the drugs? They at least showed a dirty gay sex shop and pinned it somewhat on them.

That McD's you mention has been a shithole forever. Those garment district blocks were getting pretty nice and cleaned up just a few years ago, went to total shit once lockdowns happened.

And of course there's no bail for any criminals the police arrest. It's a literal revolving door. Why even bother driving them to the precinct? It's just a waste of gas at this point. Oh, the mild inconvenience of a druggie having to get a ride from the police station back to his drug spot. I'm sure that takes a real bite out of crime.

If bail reform makes it easy for criminals to avoid being locked up, we can at least fortify any points of egress at the jails. They might be able to walk out, but they'll being traversing an American Ninja style obstacle course, filled with extra messy Double Dare inspired physical challenges.

It's like a GTA videogame in real life; get arrested, get released immediately

I lived on 29th and 10th avenue 20 years ago. It was so terrible there that I didn't stay that long. Plus the subway was so god damn far away. There was hookers fucking people in the cars right outside my apartment, crazy blacks running around blasted on angel dust. The highline was just an abandoned mess of shit. and threw my apartment window I could see my neighbor walking around naked. That fucker needed to put pants on.
