There we go, in tune.
But then doesn't prove it with a final post-robo-tune strum? GTFO

That bothered me the same.

I have something superior, I have a Peavey AT 200 , which has on board Antares auto tune software.
It can be used like a normal electric guitar with two pickups , bridge and neck. It has piezo pickups in the bridge, which are used for the autotune mode. The thing that makes it superior is that anywhere on the neck that you play a note, it will be in perfect tune. Intonation and set up differences don't affect the auto tuned signal, it's always perfect.
I don't usually use the AT function and I always tune up with my handy TC Electronics Poly Tune tuner๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
The auto tune is great for transcribing music from your head because finding a note when intonation isn't perfect can slow you down. I also use it when I lay down tracks when multitrack recording, just cause, less worries when you know it's in perfect tune.
Anyway, I recommend, cool guitar. Not equal to a high end guitar but at least its in tune. Also makes alt tuning super fast like drop D in 2 seconds and back again in a snap.
I spent $300.00 used on Ebay ( like new) maybe about $399.00 new ??
I reiterate, not a high end guitar but I only have one and that is it. It's a cool thing. Can check it out on YouTube ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Wow, that's really cool.

Thanks. I usually keep the batteries out because it's 4-AA batteries and I'm always aware they can leak and ruin shit. Cool when the drummer wants to try drop D tunink during a break and you can go, boom, here you go, without turning the pegs. Then shut the AT off and you're back to natural strings.
All in all, I have zero complaints, works great prob 5-6 years, jam mostly every week. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Use lithium batteries to avoid leaks.

A ha, did not know about that.
I'll check it out, thanks.

I'd like to see this made into one of those early 90s infomercials.

Guitar tuning got you down?!

Broken strings every time you try?!

INTRODUCING ROOOOOOBOOOOOOOTUUUUUUUNE!

[ - ] Version6 0 points 2.8 yearsSep 1, 2022 09:04:12 ago (+0/-0)

I need one

It's probably using a PID control system, when the guitar is strung it measures the frequency and then adjusts until the frequency reaches the proper set tuning frequency.

It turns back and forth as it over shoots and undershoots the desired target frequency.

A guitar my ex can finally try to play simple chords on

There is no need to be more โ€œefficientโ€ as a musician.

You could say the same thing about a tuning fork. I'm sure people did.

[ - ] Thyhorrorcosmic103 0 points 2.8 yearsSep 2, 2022 17:20:47 ago (+0/-0)

No you can't. That's a stupid comparison

[ - ] Anus_Expander -1 points 2.8 yearsAug 31, 2022 19:42:46 ago (+0/-1)

Gibson stopped making them after 2 years cuz everyone hated them HAHAHAHA

[ - ] bonghits4jeebus 2 points 2.8 yearsAug 31, 2022 22:34:44 ago (+2/-0)

Why?

[ - ] Anus_Expander -1 points 2.8 yearsSep 1, 2022 16:56:04 ago (+0/-1)

they are heavy = makes the neck 'dive'...also ugly as shit

[ - ] bonghits4jeebus 1 point 2.8 yearsSep 1, 2022 21:01:41 ago (+1/-0)

Can't you take it off after you're done tuning? Are you saying the weight permanently warps the neck?

[ - ] Anus_Expander -1 points 2.8 yearsSep 1, 2022 23:39:10 ago (+0/-1)

-no

-not warp the neck, but it pulls the neck down while you are trying to play
