Read SIEGE

[ - ] dulcima 2 points 2.6 yearsSep 14, 2022 21:31:55 ago (+2/-0)

Siege is the last word on the matter, I believe.

You would, @Joe_McCarthy

JFC, there are some real idiots here.

Common sense here is not so common. Apparently we're to believe I make daily posts discussing details of the land down under. It's plausible I know all that shit I guess.

He's not the first guy to accuse you of being me either. Kattie got the same treatment. If a guy has female friends the angry incels call it fake.

There ARE some stupid fucks here indeed. But a lot of it is simple hostility to me. And dare I say it - envy and feelings of inferiority and butthurt. I have been demolishing these people's dumb takes for years after all. And what is especially amusing to me is that it hasn't been hard. They dumm.

Too many. I still drop by on occasion out of nostalgia for real voat, but all the sites seem to be overwhelmed by grade school dropouts.

Which is no accident you can rest assured. No chance all of these stupid posters are organic. Some of them are here to shit up the zone. On purpose.

The Turner Diaries?

Surviving the economic collapse. By Fernando Ferfal Aguirre. Based on a first hand experience of the 2001 economic collapse in Argentina. I also read something from the Bosnian war but cannot remember the author. He went into detail how they survived. It required a large extended family living together in a bunker type house. Said medicine and Bic lighters were better than currency.

I read the Bosnian guy's story.
Batteries , liquor, antibiotics and food were all more valuable than gold or silver

Yep, I remember that liquor was real popular. It would make sense to store a bunch to prep, IF you can defend it if or when the SHTF. Mobile may be a better proposition for most. A stash needs to be hidden as in buried.

The last refuge?

[ - ] Sector7 0 points 2.6 yearsSep 15, 2022 12:53:50 ago (+0/-0)

That story about surviving in Sarajevo(?) during the civil war was informative. Guns were confiscated first, then it kicked off. It's about to restart in the very near future.

Looking for a military thriller , something fictional

[ - ] Joe_McCarthy 1 point 2.6 yearsSep 15, 2022 02:10:44 ago (+1/-0)

Siege is indeed the correct answer. The only answer.

But I see you want fiction... well...

How is he going to mention the camp counselor and then not say what happened. I looked for 11ish minutes.

I was a bit interested in the book but then see ... these types of authors, I can only imagine how the book will be.

Hugh howey he is not.

If multiple people have to call you a fed and you go around telling users here to kill themselves when you new and have about two posts on here, maybe you aren't a good fit for our site.

SHTF Survival Stories: Memories From The Balkan War by Selco Begovic.

This is a must read. It made me buy a shit ton of more things I didn’t have. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed "Enemies Foreign and Domestic" by Matt Bracken. Any book by Brad Thor will also be topnotch. However, if you are looking for something which is both real and horrific (in the worst way you can imagine), then Operation Snow by Jon Koster is the ticket.
