is there a way to undo an upvote?

just curious if there is a way to undo an upvote. as in to turn it back to null. as far as i can tell, clicking an upvoat reaffirms the original choice and clicking downvote goes in the opposite direction. what if i just want to remove my upvote altogether?

Just downvote and hit F5 refresh, both should be canceled out.

Also why not just leave the upvote? Internet points don't matter.

I clicked up then down then refreshed and you're still standing at just 1 with no negative.

Every single upvote I've given has been an accidental click. I'd love the ability to remove all of them at once.

It COULD help filter out the spam, but that's not how it's used in practice.
