In my personal experience in Texas, I have the impression the average white man is between 5'10 and 5'11, since 6'0 doesn't seem remarkable or truly tall, but Hispanics are notably shorter. I thought I was a short female growing up, but that was just because I was around whites in school. Once I saw more Hispanic women I was commonly taller than them.
