Be sure to save up for that $30,000 battery change in 5-7 years.

NO ONE that is driving an electric car today, NO ONE, will be driving that same car in five years. Someone else will, not the original owners.

They will have to replace the battery to sell it. Or find a severely retarded idiot and rip him off.

Did some car shopping and noticed a lot of used teslas on bmw car lots from owners trading them in for gas.

Dude I know, makes a good living, bought a diesel pickup, a Chevy (junk) for 81k. It’s the small v/6 diesel, so it gets great mileage.
I did the math on me making the same purchase, only I would be doing it with a Ford with the v/6 eco boost.
Turns out that I’d spend 1500 a month before insurance, instead of keeping my old ford truck which costs me shit nothing to own and gets 12 mpg.
Who’s smarter.
