10/10 times if you need to draw your CCW you need to draw, point, and shoot in seconds within 12 ft of your attacker. practice point shooting

I'd say it's 8 out of 10.

I've been in more than 10 shootings. There are bad guys that take a hostage and/or run the other way while still pointing their gun at you.

There are friends of bad guys who are also threats when they work in groups.

There are cases where you flee behind a car, and are pinned down in a parking lot.

Been there, done that.

Buy 80% of the time, point shooting is the answer.

Exaclty. Point shooting means not even using the sights.

That's 20% one may find himself in a situation where can use a red dot, if equipped, and 80% it's not relevant.

However, by adding that red dot accessory we've just greatly decreased our chances of carrying in the first place.

Advocate carrying whatever gun am comfortable with. Never add accessories if it means less often taking it with.

CCW is meant to be comforting not comfortable

You're a fun guy. At first I was thinking OK Fallujah then you said parking lots. No parking lots in that shithole.

Well, not 10/10

And if within 12 feet, laser not needed.

The thing is, it adds complexity/size and so adding a laser limits your choices of what's reasonable

The best carry is one that you actually use. So if the laser ever stops you from doing that then......

Laser? Tell us you've never handled a firearm without telling us you've never handled a firearm.

Must have been late. My point still stands.

Laser?

He said red dot. Better than night sights unless the battery dies.

Battery life is getting pretty good these days, I'm constantly amazed my shit still turns on with my non-carry fleet.

I've had a red dot on a rifle for 3 1/2 years. it still works on the original battery. I dont play around with it. it sat in a case until the hurricane last week.

He's talking about a carry pistol, not home defense.

[ - ] FreeinTX 1 point 2.6 yearsOct 3, 2022 13:27:56 ago (+1/-0)

Same. Red dot is better than night sights.

[ - ] ruck_feddit 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 3, 2022 13:49:03 ago (+0/-0)

Hands down, better. Observer1 is a notorious retard of which there are many examples.

[ - ] observation1 -1 points 2.6 yearsOct 3, 2022 13:50:08 ago (+0/-1)

It is hands down better... for NOT that situation. Tell us you don't carry without actually telling us you don't carry.

[ - ] ruck_feddit 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 3, 2022 14:12:04 ago (+0/-0)

Rmr beats night sights, you're a retard still.

[ - ] observation1 -1 points 2.6 yearsOct 3, 2022 14:33:01 ago (+0/-1)*

Repeating the same thing twice on something I agree on, makes who the retard?

Maybe you shouldn't comment on carrying advice if you've only read about it.

Good luck with your red dot accessory that you are not currently and will not ever carry concealed.

It is hands down better... for NOT that situation.

Also

Repeating the same thing twice on something I agree on

Can't even keep your story straight. Can you own a firearm with the psychotropics you're obviously using?

[ - ] observation1 -1 points 2.6 yearsOct 3, 2022 15:06:29 ago (+0/-1)

Thanks for proving my point, retard. Don't blame me if you don't know plain english. Lol
