If the government locks up one innocent man in your name, and locking up an innocent man is a crime, then all of us are guilty of the crime of locking up an innocent man, and thus all of us should also be locked up.

This is the inescapable problem of imprisonment, and you cannot avoid dealing with this issue.

Prisons are morally indefensible, police are also indefensible for the same reason.

We shouldn't be having a centralized justice system at all, just let people handle their own problems with one another in their own way, why do we have to make the problem of a one or a few into the business of everybody?

The justice system doesn't work, either, how is it even supposed to work in the first place?

Punishment? that's the business of God, or the natural consequences of their decisions, or guilt, no need to get involved.

Deterrent? crimes are committed impulsively out of passion, by mistake, for personal gain, for some ideology, or out of compulsion.
The first two reasons cannot be deterred because they aren't premeditated, the next two reasons are calculated decisions that put the risk of getting caught over the rewards of the crime itself, there is no deterrent that could work because they think they won't be caught, they are gambling on it, the last reason is completely immune to deterrent.

Suppressing the ideas that led to the crime? Prisons make martyrs out of the sentenced, they actively spread the ideas further.

There are no reasons to have prisons or police, they don't execute justice, they just get in the way of revenge.

Revenge is superior to justice, it's direct, far more immediate, and far less suffering from a lack of accuracy judging by the rates of wrongful convictions, better that you be judged and dealt with directly by those who may be taking offense at your actions, than by 12 randomly selected strangers.

Revenge is also more merciful than justice, if no one wants you to suffer for something you had done, then you don't suffer for it, the justice system is compelled to punish people for their actions, it never overlooks any wrong that was committed, it always seeks out retaliation.

Revenge is superior to justice in that it's far more immune to corruption, justice is easily corrupted because of a lack of personal investment in it's execution.

Vengeance seekers are courageous they risk themselves to set things right as they see fit, they will brave themselves against intimidating odds, sometimes successful, other times not.
By contrast administrators of justice are cowards, we've seen presidencies stolen because judges fear civil war, innocent men convicted because judges fear an increase in riots.

I think the entire system of justice and law enforcement should be gotten rid of, because from what I've seen its beyond useless, and I've yet to encounter one good argument for it.

Please give me the best arguments you can come up with for why we should have a centralized justice or law enforcement system.
