Raisin Mulberry pie

I like raisins. I'm a weirdo. I'm not too sure how I feel about them in a pie though. It might be good, but hot raisins aren't sounding so hot.

I dislike raisins. Raisin bran as a kid was the only exception. My father requested a raisin pie a few months ago; I was not relishing the prospect. The Mrs. goes to nuts.com and gets some large golden raisins (not sunmade crap) and makes a pie. Holy shit. Fast forward, she gets the idea to mix mulberry's in with it.

Seriously though, where did you get the mulberries? I finally broke down and bought two mulberry trees this year. They are very small, it's all I could afford at the time, so I should be able to make one of those beautiful pies in about six or seven years!
