Reddit is a once inspired and engaging place that now is the single best modern example of the power of propaganda that I can think of.

CNN and Fox (and others) are so blatant and unapologetic that they are easy to discount. But Reddit has these legions of earnest ideologues that have not only drank deep of the koolaid but are fervent proliferators of same. It's a much more pernicious example of the effectiveness and impact of propaganda, IMO.

It's trash but sometimes putting "reddit" at the beginning of a search is still the fastest way to get a decent answer because the rest of the internet is worse trash.
