I miss my 82 Westfalia, we lived in it for three months traveling the west coast many years ago. Had a stove, sink with water tank, and a small fridge that ran on propane or electric. True German engineering.
Battery powered electric isn't a good idea. The hydrogen fuel cell electric that Toyota is developing looks like a good idea. That being said, battery powered electrics don't have to replace all the combustion cars in use, because apparently an ordinary goy isn't supposed to have a private car.
