They are trying to hide something big. Either their economy is in total shambles or they are converting to a war economy.

It's no secret that their economy is on the down slope and it is no secret that the numbers they provided in the past were all inflated. The party's legitimacy in large part is tied to economic growth, with the party congress going on right now is not a good time to admit they were building a house of cards.
