I've seen similar things like this plenty of times. Even in my back yard looking up in the sky and then checking flightradar24. the difference in altitude was in excess of 10000 feet. Still makes me wonder, with so much room in the sky, why does the flight corridor in both directions have to be the same.
Yeah, I thought they will crash. Actually I check this radar24 rarely now since doesn't show all flights -but was just some noise above me, and then I checked Ukraine border, if already something is going on there, and seen this.
Thanks, I'll check it out. :) But with amount of military I seen this last week passing by, I don't think any website will be correct... was for size of a very decent ww3 lasting at least a year if not more.
VERTICAL SEPARATION MINIMA Separate instrument flight rules (IFR) aircraft using the following minima between altitudes:
Up to and including FL 410- 1,000 feet.
Apply 2,000 feet at or above FL 290 between non-RVSM aircraft and all other aircraft at or above FL 290. Above FL 410- 2,000 feet, except: In oceanic airspace, above FL 450 between a supersonic and any other aircraft- 4,000 feet. Above FL 600 between military aircraft- 5,000 feet.
FL410 is 41,000 feet
At and below FL 410
0 through 179 (Degrees)
Odd cardinal altitude or flight levels at intervals of 2,000 feet
3,000, 5,000, FL 310, FL 330
180 through 359 (Degrees)
Even cardinal altitude or flight levels at intervals of 2,000 feet
appreciate and that's nice in peaceful times... but I finally read today that "The US 101st Airborne Division is deployed in Europe, specifically in Romania, near the border with Ukraine.", and there is a lot of stuff going on, which no one wants to write on internets, me included.

This isn't uncommon. If you have 50 flights from new York to Palm Beach per day and 50 from Palm Beach to New York they're going to cross paths.
