It's annoying when people don't use the site correctly. If you wanted a forum there are plenty of those. These kind of sites like reddit and voat are designed where you upvote what you want to see here and downvote what you don't want to see. This helps everyone sort the good from the bad.

Ok hyperautist I'll get literal for you since it sounds like that's what you need. I didn't actually think it was that good of a comment, but since you tried and it wasn't that bad I thought I'd respond and say something nice to you. The comment itself was just ok, not worthy of an upvote or downvote. Your followup lecture to me, especially in light of your underdeveloped social dexterity is worthy of a downvote since nobody needs to see that.

I was using the site as intended.

Since this comment has explained something that you needed, I'll look forward to your upvote. Surely you won't misuse the site and downvote just because it's something that you didn't like hearing, but will award it's usefulness with an appropriate upvote.
