the victim’s family wanted prosecutors to accept a plea deal, which would prevent them from hearing the gruesome details of Marcotte’s death.

Nobody's forcing them to attend the trial nor to sit through the grisly parts...

If she worked at Google, she supported letting freeloader spic criminals like the one who killed her into our country, and happily censored anyone who would warn of the danger. Her family doesn't deserve justice.
