I got foodstamps for a month during the pandemic fucking a gold mine I went to gfs and bought a shit ton of meat .Bulk everything. There needs to be a class on how to shop and cook before you get foodstamps. I know the whole "they dont want them to know argument but this shit hurts to watch.

They can have more and better. Why are they fine with this?? That food isnt going to last 4 days. She can buy a meat grinder and do some fucking damage and shes looking at that 1 lb of ground chicken like its something. What a waste. I hate people.

There needs to be a class on how to shop and cook before you get foodstamps.

We used to have that for everyone; it was called Home Economics, but most schools dropped it sometime in the late 80's through the mid 90's.
Imagine if most consumers still understood how to cook like you describe; they wouldn't be dependent on processed/pre-packaged food which would drive down the price due to competition.
