Trust is only possible among highly related males. The neighbors are just outright enemies who will murder you and rape your women. You cannot trust anyone but a family member to marry your daughter because someone else will extort you for a higher dowry and if you don’t come through, they will murder her. Even family members have a lower allegiance because there’s a good chance your brother is really only your half-brother and therefore no closer to you than a cousin. This lowers allegiance among male family members.

The trade offs of polygyny and it’s implications on kin selection and male sexual competion are what drive the muzzie behavior. In their world, it makes perfect sense to marry your 13 year old daughter to your half brother. It makes sense that they are constantly killing each other. They are bred for it.
