Not only that, but these geniuses don't seem to recognize that protein isn't some simple metaphysical substance, haha. There are many, many kinds of proteins. Our immune systems react to various degrees against all foreign protein, but we've adapted well to some and not to others. The primary proteins you're going to get from those bug shells are typically very inflammatory.

This will not go well for people. But forget those inconvenient details, just like most of the other inconvenient details associated with other 'world-saving measures'. Ya know, like the fact our electrical grids won't handle a transition to 150 million people driving electric vehicles. Or that the production of the batteries themselves is still going to require massive gas-guzzling operations.

I also love how, in order to get any reasonable 'mass' in the burger patty, required rice and flour (even if this was a parody).

I mentioned this before too in one of my rants, but there was a high likely hood you just skipped over it.

Indeed most pathogens that affect humans are of a zoological nature, specifically from insects. They are primary vectors of protozoa, bacteria, viruses and parasitic worms/helminths.

You are more likely to get Shiga toxin-producing E. coli or salmonella from crickets than from pork.

It is also incorrectly asserted that insects also have a high food conversion rate to livestock. Some of the best energy conversion rates based on growth potential and fertility are specifically found in poultry, rabbits and pork.

Or that livestock is placed on less arable land that is converted into pasture land. No one is putting sheep on nutrient-dense soil for orchards.

Ive never done a deep dive on Lyme but it wouldnt surprise me at all if there was a laboratory origen.

I read some study of the sort of pathogens typically found in factory produced insects used for feed. There are all kinds of viruses and protists and nematodes and fungi. Really unpalatable. I suppose they would have to drug the bugs to manage the problems which gets passed on to us of course.

They love the idea of bugs because its easier to cut corners in production. They could probably feed them literal shit.
